Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Mendonça started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Guaraxaim getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Luizinho Netto hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, GREEN FC's Edson Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Carlos Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Edson Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the GREEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edson Matorin couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Alex Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos Gonçalves was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Felippe Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizinho Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alex Mendonça was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 24 minutes into the game, Edmílson Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaraxaim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN FC the free kick. Edmílson Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Álvaro Perez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaraxaim's Zé Carlos Gonçalves didn't even have to move. 28 minutes into the match, GREEN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Netto came free, but Felippe Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, Manoel Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraxaim's zone, Edson Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Gonçalves came out of the goal and Edson Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Alex Mendonça fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alex Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elano Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Felippe Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizinho Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Vidal having to interfere. Guaraxaim's Zé Carlos Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Mendonça in the 58th minute of play. Zé Carlos Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Matorin in the 61st minute of the match. Zé Carlos Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Freitas hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizinho Netto in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felippe Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Gonçalves having to interfere. Zé Carlos Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Matorin in the 85th minute of play. Alex Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Carlos Gonçalves having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Guaraxaim's Carlos Fernando Penha got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the GREEN FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
