In the 53rd minute Pedrinho Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Itaicaba SS defense, Pedrinho Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Loureiro. The Itaicaba SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Loureiro should have stopped the shot. Vânderson Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jairo de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Rezende in the 63rd minute of the match. If Alexandre Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Rezende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Loureiro having to make a save. After 89 played minutes, Oacary AD's Jeferson Tróia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oacary AD reached it. Vânderson Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oacary AD had won after a very even match.
