In the 5th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Chelsea's Wilian Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Ferreira in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Félix in the 9th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Wilian Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chelsea's Wilian Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Félix in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Freire came free, but Wilian Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Borowski in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Germano Freire was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amparo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsea the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Borowski in the 20th minute of play forced Amparo's goalkeeper Guto Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilian Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Sena in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Sena in the 26th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Wilian Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Félix in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilian Pereira saved Chelsea from getting behind. Chelsea's Wilian Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Félix in the 32nd minute of play. If Vinícius Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Augusto do Valle in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chelsea's Juarês Motta. Guto Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Alucai in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Amparo's goalkeeper Guto Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Alucai. In the 44th minute, Elói Félix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amparo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Chelsea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amparo were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Sena was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Vágner Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Edgar Borowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilian Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Wilian Pereira made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Kilström during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kilström to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Amparo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Guto Rezende went to the wrong direction when Valdemar Tande was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Wilian Pereira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tarcisio Ferreira. Tarcisio Ferreira didn't quite understand what happened when in the 83 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Elói Félix's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilian Pereira firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute of the match, Geovanni Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilian Pereira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilian Pereira made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Elói Félix sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Chelsea's Wilian Pereira got control of the ball when Elói Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amparo played a much better game than Chelsea and deserved their victory. The Chelsea players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
