Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Olimpas Football AC's Bernardinho Medeiros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Quincunca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Bernardinho Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ernani Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpas Football AC. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hílton Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quincunca AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hílton Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Luís Paulo Pinheiro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Olimpas Football AC's Júlio Mandrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Paulo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Luís Paulo Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernani Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. Ernani Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Medeiros in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Quincunca AD's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Medeiros came free, but Ernani Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Olimpas Football AC's David Berger got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Pinheiro in the 35th minute of play forced Olimpas Football AC's goalkeeper Júlio Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Mandrak having to interfere. Júlio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Pinheiro in the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Quincunca AD's Hílton Severo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Júlio Mandrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Bernardinho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernani Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 61st minute, Quincunca AD's Hílton Severo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Júlio Mandrak. Júlio Mandrak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. If Luís Paulo Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quincunca AD booed when Olimpas Football AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horácio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hílton Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Luís Paulo Pinheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luiz Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardinho Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernani Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardinho Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Olimpas Football AC's Júlio Mandrak got control of the ball when Luís Paulo Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hílton Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Severo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luiz Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Olimpas Football AC's goalkeeper Júlio Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Paulo Pinheiro. Bernardinho Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Quincunca AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
