Aprazivel's Diogo de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Aprazivel from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo de Andrade having to interfere. Enio Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. When Diogo Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aprazivel's protests and gave Diogo Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aprazivel! In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Arejas FC. Tadeu Cearense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diogo de Andrade. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Aprazivel's zone, Edvaldo Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo de Andrade came out of the goal and Edvaldo Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Eriberto Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arejas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
