The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olimpo EC. 10 minutes into the game, Eliézer Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tadeu Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th minute Umberto Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Olimpo EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match was over Olimpo EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Naru FC throughout the match.
