The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Vitório Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilson Fantini to make any attempt to save it. Gilson Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilson Fantini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitório Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the game, one of Silveirania:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Jamel F.C. Luís Fábio Secco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wágner Silveira. 1-1. When Leandro Neves fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamel F.C's protests and gave Leandro Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Jamel F.C booed when Silveirania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wágner Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Secco in the 34th minute of the match. Vitório Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilson Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vânderson Santana's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ademar Mattos made the kick off in the second half. Jamel F.C's Gilson Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Amorim in the 54th minute of play. In the 54th minute, Vitório Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Gilson Fantini. Jamel F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 58th minute, Vânderson Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gilson Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Mandrak in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Jamel F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Britto to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Silveirania's Wágner Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Mattos in the 91st minute of play. When Umberto Neves fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silveirania's protests and gave Umberto Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Umberto Neves hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Vitório Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Silveirania players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
