But to his dismay, Rodrigo Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gualter Cerezo made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Luís Fábio Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Velloso scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Sarmento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualter Cerezo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Luís Fábio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gualter Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Sarmento having to make a save. The supporters of Barandao SC booed when Monjolada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Danilo Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Sarmento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Velloso's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Alfredão da Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barandao SC's Gualter Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Barandao SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Barandao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredão da Silva came free, but Gualter Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualter Cerezo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monjolada's Alfredão da Silva. But to his dismay, Alfredão da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Danilo Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão de Azevedo in the 67th minute of the match. Barandao SC's Rodrigo Velloso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Alfredão da Silva notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Barandao SC's Gualter Cerezo. Gualter Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Monjolada's Luís Fábio Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Monjolada's zone, Rodrigo Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Sarmento came out of the goal and Rodrigo Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualter Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão da Silva in the 85th minute of the match. Alfredão da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gualter Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Monjolada booed when Barandao SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Barandao SC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
