The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Araújo got free with Adelino Saraiva in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93rd play minutes Fabiano Brasil shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Adelino Saraiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Jandiritiua SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
