After 34 played minutes Galo MG got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Magalhães. The supporters of Jaraaua booed when Galo MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rony Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Jaraaua were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Fernandão Magalhães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galo MG and the Jaraaua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernandão Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A hard shot 62 in the game by Jano Neves from a close distance when the talented Rony Peixoto managed to make a qualified save. Galo MG's players were relieved. Rony Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaraaua. Aílton Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With his leg Rony Peixoto managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Jaraaua's Jano Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Galo MG's Cafu Trevisan got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
