In the 13th match minute, Caite AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Pacuja's Joélson Linhares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 14th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caite AD. After a rather tough play, Caite AD's David de Castro got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Enrique Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Danilo Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Luiz Guilherme Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute, Bernardo de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pacuja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Gugu Soares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pacuja fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. William Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Danilo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo de Amaral in the 40th minute of the match. Donato Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Saldanha having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo de Amaral made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Enrique Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacuja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caite AD's goalkeeper Danilo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gugu Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Leal in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pacuja's William Leite got a free kick in the 59th minute. Donato Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Soares having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gugu Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caite AD's goalkeeper Danilo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Saldanha having to interfere. Bernardo de Amaral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danilo Saldanha came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo de Amaral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 77th minute. With a little luck, Caite AD's Danilo Saldanha got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Pacuja booed when Caite AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. David de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Danilo Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pacuja. In the 89th minute, Enrique Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Enrique Mesquita sent off a good shot on target. Danilo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo de Amaral in the 96th minute of play. Pacuja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
