The Iuarete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino das Neves made a kick off. Oswaldo Nóbrega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardinho Penha went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Oswaldo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Penha in the 56th minute of play.
