Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino das Neves kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Iuarete's Erik Motta got a free kick in the 5th minute. Iuarete were furious when Arthur Pernambucano was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 7th minute, one of Iuarete:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Iuarete. Geraldo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Oswaldo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Carasinho AD's Zeca Leite got control of the ball when Lauro Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 played minutes Carasinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Gerber. In the 26thth minute of the game Sílvio Luís Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iuarete's Oswaldo Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luís Torres in the 30th minute of play forced Iuarete's goalkeeper Oswaldo Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geraldo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oswaldo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Motta struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Zeca Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iuarete. Oswaldo Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Pontes in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Iuarete defense, Geraldo Pontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Nóbrega. The Iuarete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Nóbrega should have stopped the shot. Carasinho AD's Zeca Leite proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Carasinho AD from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Pontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Iuarete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geraldo Pontes got free with Oswaldo Nóbrega in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geraldo Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Nóbrega having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Nóbrega made a huge save. Oswaldo Nóbrega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geraldo Pontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. In the 82nd play minute Sílvio Luís Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oswaldo Nóbrega. 0-4. In the 86th minute, Carasinho AD's Geraldo Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Oswaldo Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Pontes in the 90th minute of play. Geraldo Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Oswaldo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Geraldo Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iuarete's Oswaldo Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carasinho AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
