Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jean Furtado took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Quexados's Doriva Cardoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodriguinho Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Doriva Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Mendes having to interfere. Tony Bittencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedito Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tony Bittencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 played minutes Caracarai got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Mineiro. After having played for 20 minutes, Tony Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quexados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caracarai's Rodriguinho Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Carneiro in the 24th minute of play. Tony Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Mendes having to interfere. André Luís Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Jean Furtado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Quexados were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tony Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rodriguinho Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quexados's Benedito Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Bittencourt in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Caracarai's Tony Bittencourt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Caracarai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quexados:s goal. The referee gave Quexados a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aloísio Maia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caracarai's Rodriguinho Mendes. 1-2. Tony Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Rodriguinho Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quexados. After a rather tough play, Caracarai's Cristian Azevedo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Quexados's Doriva Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Tony Carneiros short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Rodriguinho Mendes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodriguinho Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Doriva Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sydney Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Quexados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Guerra couldn't finish the play. Quexados's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
