Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orlando Azevedo started the match with the kick off. With 8 minutes on the clock, Inácio Paiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Quiobal EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 13 played minutes Paulinho Silveira rounded Dezessete AD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Durvalino Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Azevedo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Evaristo Bueno made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quiobal EC's Alfredo Leão. Alfredo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin de Souza having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Giovanni Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Paulinho Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Alfredo Leão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Benjamin de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulinho Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benjamin de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durvalino Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Gaspar in the 40th minute of the match. Benjamin de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dezessete AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Giovanni Ferraz was slow to take the kick. During this time Quiobal EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Giovanni Ferraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjamin de Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulinho Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Paulinho Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quiobal EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Quiobal EC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Durval Novaes hit a great ball. Zé Pedro Valladares hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Paulinho Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dezessete AD's zone, Paulinho Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin de Souza came out of the goal and Paulinho Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Dezessete AD's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Silveira came free, but Benjamin de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Durval Novaes went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Durval Novaes took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin de Souza. Benjamin de Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 74 played minutes Quiobal EC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Novaes. Alfredo Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benjamin de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dezessete AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiobal EC the free kick. In the 81st minute, Zé Pedro Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Durval Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benjamin de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Alfredo Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quiobal EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Dezessete AD booed when Quiobal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quiobal EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
