In the 7th minute Dênis Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Frozinho SS getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Adolfo Mota hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Luís Paulo de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laurenzs's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Paulo de Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. The referee ignored Frozinho SS's protests and gave Luís Fernando Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 16 minutes, Luís Paulo de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laurenzs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Frozinho SS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Silvinho Fantini hit a great ball. When Evaristo Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Laurenzs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Trigo couldn't finish the play. Elias Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Porto in the 29th minute of play. Elias Bueno came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Frozinho SS's José Paulo Porto. But to his dismay, José Paulo Porto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Evaristo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Tiaguinho Motta managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Laurenzs's Luís Paulo de Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Evaristo Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Trigo to make the kick off. Tiaguinho Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Trigo's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Luís Fernando Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frozinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Evaristo Trigo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tiaguinho Motta. When Evaristo Trigo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 67 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tiaguinho Motta was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo de Amorim in the 69th minute of play forced Frozinho SS's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Luís Paulo de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Frozinho SS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Richard Castro hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Amorim in the 72nd minute of play. Tiaguinho Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo de Amorim in the 74th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Laurenzs's Cícero Coelho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiaguinho Motta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Laurenzs reached it. Giovani Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiaguinho Motta was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Luís Paulo de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Motta having to interfere. If Evaristo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Paulo de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Evaristo Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laurenzs fully deserved thier win.
