Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Telmo Bertassi got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Refugio SS got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Zilles. After 8 played minutes Cafuta got a freekick which was hit by Tião Costa. Válbson Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Décio Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cafuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cafuta fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Cafuta's Telmo Bertassi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulysses Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tião Costa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Claudinei Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafuta's protests and gave Claudinei Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, one of Cafuta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cafuta. 24 minutes into the match, Haroldo de Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aírton Massa. Cafuta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo de Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Cafuta's Décio Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Válbson Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Telmo Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Cafuta's Décio Sá made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válbson Leite was left in no man's land by his defense there! Décio Sá took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válbson Leite. Válbson Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Cristian Berger hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Cafuta's Claudinei Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Cafuta were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arí Mandrak made the kick off in the second half. If Décio Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Válbson Leite, was totally fooled by Cafuta's Claudinei Cunha, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 69th minute, Telmo Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Válbson Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Leonardo Zilles kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cafuta's Décio Sá was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Décio Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Válbson Leite made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Refugio SS's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Bertassi came free, but Válbson Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Mandrak went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Válbson Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Bertassi in the 89th minute of the match. Décio Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Válbson Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Refugio SS's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Bertassi came free, but Válbson Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Claudinei Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 101st minute of the match Refugio SS got a corner. Cafuta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo de Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cafuta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
