After recieving a nice pass, Familia Vangola's Felippe Ramalho tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Ronaldinho Romero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Ronaldinho Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sydney Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Familia Vangola's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Válbson Leite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson da Rocha's late challenge caught a Refugio SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. Nelson da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Refugio SS's goal looked a bit too open when Sydney Camargo came free, but Válbson Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulysses Romero to make the kick off. Ulysses Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Michel Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válbson Leite was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felippe Ramalho. After a rather tough play, Refugio SS's Ciro Salgado got a free kick in the 85th minute. Leonardo Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
