In the 2nd minute, André Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilian Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digo Vianna in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Frank de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas Paes in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Vidal saved Jauru AD from getting behind. Júlio Matorin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. João Pedro Vidal made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Júlio Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Hílton Zonta hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Júlio Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Acapucai SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júlio Matorin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 32 minutes, Silas Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acapucai SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Vidal having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Silas Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delfim de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. João Pedro Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acapucai SS. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jauru AD's goalkeeper João Pedro Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Pedro Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Olívio Favoretto's late challenge caught a Jauru AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olívio Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jauru AD booed when Acapucai SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Silas Paes made the kick off in the second half. If Silas Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Acapucai SS's Júlio Matorin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Pedro Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfredo da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Matorin in the 64th minute of play forced Jauru AD's goalkeeper João Pedro Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilian Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Acapucai SS booed when Jauru AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digo Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Silas Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Sandro Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jauru AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acapucai SS the free kick. 76 minutes into the match, Acapucai SS's goal looked a bit too open when Digo Vianna came free, but Wilian Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Silas Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. João Pedro Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Matorin's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Jauru AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank de Amorim to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Júlio Matorin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jauru AD's João Pedro Vidal. João Pedro Vidal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Matorin struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. João Pedro Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acapucai SS. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Acapucai SS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
