Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Luís Andrade took the kick off in the first half of the match. Samuca Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelinho Tróia scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Gustavo Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Zuma Esporte Clube's zone, Kléberson Neiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Rosa came out of the goal and Kléberson Neiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sydney Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Lara hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Clube Atlético Baianiense's Luís Gustavo Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Clube Atlético Baianiense from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Zuma Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Neiva came free, but Sydney Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Cássio Viana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zuma Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atlético Baianiense the free kick. Samuca Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sydney Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléberson Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Rosa came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Baianiense's Samuca Passos. But to his dismay, Samuca Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Clube Atlético Baianiense were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuca Passos made a kick off. André Luís Andrade took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Lopes. Luís Gustavo Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Rui França kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Kléberson Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Anísio Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuma Esporte Clube and the Clube Atlético Baianiense players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Clube Atlético Baianiense booed when Zuma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuca Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sydney Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Clube Atlético Baianiense's Kléberson Neiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sydney Rosa. That made the score 2-3 after 67 minutes of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Clube Atlético Baianiense's Kléberson Neiva in the 71st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sydney Rosa was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Zuma Esporte Clube through an amazing save. In the 74th minute of the match João Francisco Branco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Gustavo Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Samuca Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Neiva struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sydney Rosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Baianiense. In the 87th minute, Clube Atlético Baianiense's Kléberson Neiva dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Sydney Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes, Marco Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Baianiense and the Zuma Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Zuma Esporte Clube booed when Clube Atlético Baianiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kléberson Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Clube Atlético Baianiense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zuma Esporte Clube throughout the match.
