Luís Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Passos in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Samuca Passos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Atalho SS's Luís Lucas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Neiva in the 23rd minute of play forced Atalho SS's goalkeeper Luís Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Samuca Passos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Clube Atlético Baianiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Passos couldn't finish the play. Luís Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Clube Atlético Baianiense fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Clube Atlético Baianiense's Kléberson Neiva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Samuca Passos struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Luís Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Baianiense. Samuca Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Lucas having to interfere. Kléberson Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luís Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Pires was the one to do the kick off. Luís Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Neiva in the 51st minute of the match. Waldemar Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Clube Atlético Baianiense's Samuca Passos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Luís Lucas was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Kléberson Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
