Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Fernandes in the 7th minute of play forced Garganta's goalkeeper Edvaldo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Secco having to interfere. Garganta's Bruninho Moreno got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Cordeiro in the 17th minute of play forced Galaxy's goalkeeper Júlio Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Júlio Secco made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vítor Perez in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Garganta defense, Gildo Mineiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvaldo Siqueira. The Garganta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvaldo Siqueira should have stopped the shot. Gildo Mineiro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Siqueira. Edvaldo Siqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32nd minute, Gildo Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Júlio Secco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 38th minute Leonel Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês Fernandes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Juarês Fernandes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Bruninho Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garganta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Bruninho Moreno notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Galaxy's Júlio Secco. Júlio Secco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Júlio Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Cordeiro in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gildo Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edvaldo Siqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Galaxy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Luz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After 82 played minutes Garganta got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Perez. Edvaldo Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Mineiro in the 83rd minute. If Vágner Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-5 became the score in the 89th minute when Gildo Mineiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Gildo Mineiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Edvaldo Siqueira however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Garganta booed when Galaxy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Galaxy defense, Bruninho Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Júlio Secco. The Galaxy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Júlio Secco should have stopped the shot. Galaxy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
