After a rather tough play, Titan F.C's Danilo Mandrak got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gernando Donato might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugênio Arce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Donato ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 70 minutes, Valdomiro da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro da Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Titan F.C's protests and gave Danilo Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Gernando Donato recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugênio Arce. Gernando Donato showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Augusto Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Simões. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Valdomiro da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. RACING's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdomiro da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Andrade in the 90th minute of play forced Titan F.C's goalkeeper Bernardo Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdomiro da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Mandrak hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Augusto Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute Augusto Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RACING walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
