That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, Seduc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Soares came free, but Vivaldo Diniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Tony Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vágner Passos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Simplicio EC's zone, Flavinho Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vágner Passos came out of the goal and Flavinho Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Seduc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Mumbach to maneuver through the defense. Vivaldo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Soares in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Flavinho Mattos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seduc FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Seduc FC's Armandinho Neto got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Terra to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Simplicio EC's Vágner Passos got control of the ball when Flavinho Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Flavinho Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vágner Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Osmar Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simplicio EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Vivaldo Diniz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Simplicio EC's Robinho Soares shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. With his leg Vágner Passos managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Seduc FC's Tony Terra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
