Pedrinho Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Gaspar having to interfere. Cauan Gaspar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrinho Linares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. 1-2 became the score in the 35th minute when Allan dos Santos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lino Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan dos Santos in the 42nd minute of play forced Gargorra SS's goalkeeper Dráusio da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio da Mata having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gargorra SS's zone, Lino Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio da Mata came out of the goal and Lino Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gargorra SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abate EC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Barral made the kick off in the second half. If Allan dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Lino Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Travassos's late challenge caught a Abate EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Gargorra SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio da Mata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Leão's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Gargorra SS's Pedrinho Linares got a free kick in the 69th minute. Allan dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauã Vianna hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Dráusio da Mata was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Agnaldo Rezende. After 84 played minutes, Gargorra SS's Osmar Tavares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cauan Gaspar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gargorra SS reached it. Pedrinho Linares took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauan Gaspar. Cauan Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lino Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio da Mata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. If Allan dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
