The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Igor Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Arthur das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Alves scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Lira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute Tiago Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Lira having to interfere. Eduardo Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Percy de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edvaldo Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Trigo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Alvejado FC's Antônio Trigo got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes of play Alvejado FC's Antônio Trigo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bodega booed when Alvejado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Alves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvaldo Lira was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Percy Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Arthur das Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percy Cunha made a kick off. Percy de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Edvaldo Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bodega. Tiago Rocha's late challenge caught a Bodega's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alvejado FC's Tiago Rocha got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Cléber Favoretto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alvejado FC's Edvaldo Lira didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Alvejado FC's zone, Eduardo Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Lira came out of the goal and Eduardo Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Percy Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arthur das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percy Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Bodega got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Cabral. Lino Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Botelho hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Tiago Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Eduardo Alves could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Edvaldo Lira however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th minute Percy Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Alves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo Lira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bodega's Igor Botelho got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Igor Botelho off the ground. 86 minutes into the match, Bodega's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Cunha came free, but Arthur das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Alves took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Lira. Edvaldo Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match was over Bodega could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alvejado FC throughout the match.
