The supporters of Clementina booed when Fronteiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Régis Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. Dráusio Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Pereira having to interfere. Benjamim Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Matías Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute João Vítor Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamim Cabral made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Michel Cavalcante immediately put the ball in play. Fronteiras's Inácio Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor Moreno in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fronteiras's Benjamim Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 95th minute.
