Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Morangaba's Aleandro Mumbach got control of the ball when David Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, David Cabral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleandro Mumbach. Morangaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Cabral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Morangaba's Aleandro Mumbach got control of the ball when Eriberto Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Eriberto Severo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aleandro Mumbach. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Morangaba's Aleandro Mumbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hílton Albuquerque in the 27th minute of play. Eriberto Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Aleandro Mumbach made a huge save. After 29 played minutes Morangaba got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Gomes. After a rather tough play, Pinheiro FC's Eriberto de Senna got a free kick in the 31st minute. Durvalino Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Erivaldo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morangaba's Naldo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aleandro Mumbach made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Eriberto Severo sent off a good shot on target.

In the 52nd minute of the match Alfredo Pernambucano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Glauco Simões skillfully saved the ball. Miguel da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Simões having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Morangaba's Erivaldo Dante ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Glauco Simões. Glauco Simões yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. When Erivaldo Dante came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Morangaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Dante couldn't finish the play. Erivaldo Dante struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Glauco Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morangaba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erivaldo Dante in the 68th minute of play forced Pinheiro FC's goalkeeper Glauco Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Morangaba's Erivaldo Dante got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinheiro FC's goalkeeper Glauco Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glauco Simões was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Miguel da Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel da Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. When Erivaldo Dante came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Morangaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Dante couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Erivaldo Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erivaldo Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Simões having to interfere. The supporters of Pinheiro FC booed when Morangaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pinheiro FC had won after a very even match.
