The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto Félix got free with Cipriano Pitta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raí Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cipriano Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Raí Luz made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Pitta. Ouricurituba SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Zé Augusto Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Cipriano Pitta made a huge save. Iraty SS's Téo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo de Toledo in the 38th minute of play. Manfredo de Toledo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 42nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The audience was convinced that Raí Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Pitta was relentless in the 49th minute of the game.
