Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Júnior Marques got the match started through his kick off. Júnior Marquess short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Simão Barreto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elano de Amorim's late challenge caught a Guine EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elano de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ubaia getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elano de Amorim hit a great ball. Walmyr Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Júnior Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guine EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Ubaia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Júnior Marques fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Walmyr Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guine EC booed when Ubaia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Júnior Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júnior Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ubaia's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Marques came free, but Simão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júnior Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ubaia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Ubaia's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Marques came free, but Simão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guine EC's Wilton Fonseca suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jânio Pires fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ubaia's protests and gave Jânio Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Jânio Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Walmyr Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Quirino in the 63rd minute of play forced Ubaia's goalkeeper Simão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Walmyr Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júnior Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guine EC's protests and gave Carlos Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, one of Guine EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guine EC. Falcão Amaral placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Walmyr Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guine EC's Walmyr Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmyr Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ubaia's zone, Walmyr Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Barreto came out of the goal and Walmyr Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sílvio Luís Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Simão Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ubaia's Sandrinho Couto got a free kick in the 90th minute. Walmyr Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Barreto having to interfere. Simão Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Quirino in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ubaia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Guine EC side.
