A collision led to Guajarauna FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Wilson Proença hit a great ball. In the 5th minute of the match Fellipe Schmidt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Vianna skillfully saved the ball. Júnior Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Guine EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guajarauna FC:s goal. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for Guajarauna FC. Danilo Simões stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walmyr Moreno. 0-1. Jaime Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Walmyr Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guajarauna FC. Walmyr Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Vianna having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Guine EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Diniz came free, but Walmyr Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Júnior Marques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmyr Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Jaime Mesquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Moreno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Mesquita to strike the kick off in the second half. Teodoro Araújo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Walmyr Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ezequiel Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guajarauna FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Guine EC. Fellipe Schmidt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ezequiel Vianna. 1-2. 60 minutes into the game, Jaime Mesquita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walmyr Moreno. Jaime Mesquita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 63rd minute, Teodoro Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Walmyr Moreno made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Walmyr Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Jaime Mesquita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Walmyr Moreno, passed just outside the right post. After 77 played minutes Guajarauna FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Araújo. Ezequiel Vianna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Marques in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Teodoro Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guajarauna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guine EC the free kick. In the 90th minute, Teodoro Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Guajarauna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Marques came free, but Ezequiel Vianna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 100 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guajarauna FC! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Guine EC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
