Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) CURUÇA F.C.'s Narciso Souto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Diamantino AD booed when CURUÇA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa Secco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Aleandro Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Diamantino AD were awarded a corner. Rafa Secco went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Diamantino AD's corner Rafa Secco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hortêncio Duarte quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Diamantino AD defense, Dionísio Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Vidal. The Diamantino AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Vidal should have stopped the shot. In the 14thth minute of the game Narciso Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamantino AD's Enrique Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino AD's Enrique Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Souto in the 16th minute of play. If Dionísio Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Souto in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Vidal saved Diamantino AD from getting behind. If Narciso Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionísio Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Enrique Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Souto in the 30th minute of play forced Diamantino AD's goalkeeper Enrique Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CURUÇA F.C.'s zone, Aleandro Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Duarte came out of the goal and Aleandro Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, CURUÇA F.C.'s Dionísio Novaes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Diamantino AD's Olívio Britto got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Narciso Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamantino AD's Enrique Vidal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Dionísio Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CURUÇA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionísio Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aleandro Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. Narciso Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Enrique Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleandro Montenegro in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to CURUÇA F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jeferson de Sena hit a great ball. Aleandro Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hortêncio Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleandro Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Diamantino AD booed when CURUÇA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Diamantino AD booed when CURUÇA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílton Quirino in the 65th minute of play forced CURUÇA F.C.'s goalkeeper Hortêncio Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes CURUÇA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Azevedo. Dionísio Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Enrique Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CURUÇA F.C.'s Jeferson de Sena got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Jeferson de Sena off the ground. After 78 played minutes CURUÇA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson de Sena. Aleandro Montenegro's late challenge caught a CURUÇA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleandro Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Diamantino AD getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aleandro Montenegro hit a great ball. Diamantino AD's Amílton Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olívio Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amílton Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hortêncio Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
