Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Taboco SC's Guto da Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nestor Fernandes scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Eduardo Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Eduardo Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido de Brito in the 9th minute. Cido de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luiz Eduardo Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Fernandes in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Mazinho Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22ndth minute of the game Nestor Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taboco SC's Luiz Eduardo Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Placas booed when Taboco SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placas's Armando Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto da Silveira in the 26th minute of play. Placas's Nestor Fernandes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Nestor Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Bastos having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Paulo José Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Fernandes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Eduardo Bastos saved Taboco SC from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Taboco SC got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Quadros. After 60 played minutes Placas got a freekick which was hit by Marco da Silva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido de Brito in the 65th minute of play forced Taboco SC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placas's Cido de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cido de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Luiz Eduardo Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Fernandes in the 70th minute of play forced Taboco SC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Placas booed when Taboco SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto da Silveira in the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Paulo José Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Placas's Marco da Silva got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Breno da Rocha struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Luiz Eduardo Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Placas. Cido de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Placas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
