Erasmo Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Willian Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnauba EC. In the 5th match minute, Bahusinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Paiva to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Terra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Carnauba EC's Alan Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas de Moraes in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Carnauba EC booed when Bahusinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carnauba EC's Cipriano de Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Bahusinho got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Nóbrega. Cipriano de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willian Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. Willian Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Cipriano de Brito sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the game, one of Bahusinho:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute, the referee gave Carnauba EC a penalty. Délio de Moraes looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Willian Carvalho. In the 31st match minute, Carnauba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Messias to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Oséas de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Oséas de Moraes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carnauba EC's Alan Terra. Alan Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Carnauba EC's Alan Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Souza in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Bahusinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. In the 62ndth minute of the game Erasmo Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahusinho's Willian Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Carnauba EC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hugo de Carvalho hit a great ball. Alan Terra acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Murilo Brito. Leandro Arce hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Bahusinho's Oséas de Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 75th match minute, Bahusinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Prado to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Délio de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnauba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Carlos Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahusinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Terra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséas de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oséas de Moraes in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alan Terra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bahusinho's goalkeeper Willian Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the game, Murilo Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahusinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carnauba EC the free kick. Murilo Meireles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Willian Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bahusinho getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Murilo Brito hit a great ball. Cipriano de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Erasmo Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Carvalho. Bahusinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
