Geraldo Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitinho Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Sebastião Alvarenga fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guinda SC's protests and gave Sebastião Alvarenga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guinda SC's Sebastião Alvarenga got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Adalberto Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quarany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guinda SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quarany's Adalberto Aguiar got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Vitinho Brito came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Guinda SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Brito couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Sebastião Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Alvarenga in the 32nd minute of the match. Romeu Garcia made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Adalberto Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Vitinho Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Geraldo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Quarany's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Alvarenga came free, but Geraldo Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcel Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Brito in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Guinda SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Pombal came free, but Romeu Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Guinda SC defense, Marcel Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Garcia. The Guinda SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Garcia should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Vitinho Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geraldo Terra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Alvarenga went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 66 in the game by Sebastião Alvarenga from a close distance when the talented Geraldo Terra managed to make a qualified save. Quarany's players were relieved. Geraldo Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Brito in the 69th minute of the match. Quarany's Adalberto Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Quarany's goalkeeper Geraldo Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Alvarenga. After a defensive mix-up in Quarany's zone, Vitinho Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Terra came out of the goal and Vitinho Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Alvarenga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geraldo Terra firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Vitinho Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guinda SC's zone, Marcel Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Garcia came out of the goal and Marcel Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcel Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Romeu Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guinda SC's Romeu Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Aguiar in the 94th minute of play. Adalberto Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
