52 minutes into the match, Quarany's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Souza came free, but Geraldo Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Oséas de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Bahusinho's Carlos Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geraldo Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Giovanni Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oséas de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Oséas de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Quarany players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
