Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Erasmo Paranaense started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Quarany booed when Carnauba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Quarany's Marcel Pombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Frédson Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano de Brito's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Geraldo Terra firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Cipriano de Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geraldo Terra was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Geraldo Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Erasmo Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frédson Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Erasmo Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quarany's Luís Paulo Fantini got a free kick in the 20th minute. Adalberto Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quarany's zone, Cipriano de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Terra came out of the goal and Cipriano de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, Quarany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Terra came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Carnauba EC's Erasmo Paranaense. But to his dismay, Erasmo Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Dino da Cunha's late challenge caught a Quarany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Dino da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Frédson Cunha in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Alan Terra's left hand side. After 47 played minutes Carnauba EC got a freekick which was hit by Dino da Cunha.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Pombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cipriano de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Geraldo Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Carnauba EC's Cipriano de Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geraldo Terra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Cipriano de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quarany's Geraldo Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Paranaense in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Cipriano de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Cipriano de Brito notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Quarany's Geraldo Terra. Geraldo Terra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erasmo Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Terra having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano de Brito in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geraldo Terra saved Quarany from getting behind. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Quarany's goalkeeper Geraldo Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carnauba EC's Erasmo Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Quarany defense, Erasmo Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geraldo Terra. The Quarany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geraldo Terra should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Terra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Carnauba EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
