Oséas de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Garcia having to interfere. After 32nd play minutes Vitinho Brito shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Willian Carvalho and just under the crossbar into goal. Sandrinho Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeu Garcia having to make a save. Sebastião Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Carvalho having to interfere. Romeu Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Souza in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitinho Brito to make the kick off. Oséas de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Romeu Garcia made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséas de Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romeu Garcia. That made the score 2-1 in the 60 minute of play.
