Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reinaldo de Godoy got the match started through his kick off. Cachu Ita FC's Miguel Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Nhunguagu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Soares came free, but Agenor Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Agenor Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachu Ita FC's goalkeeper Régis Breckenfeld, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Nhunguagu FC's zone, Manuel Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Fernandes came out of the goal and Manuel Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Thiago Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nhunguagu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachu Ita FC the free kick. Cachu Ita FC's Umberto Pinheiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nhunguagu FC. After 35 played minutes Nhunguagu FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Perez. After a defensive mix-up in Nhunguagu FC's zone, Manuel Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Fernandes came out of the goal and Manuel Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guga Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Agenor Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cachu Ita FC's Manuel Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Neves to make the kick off. Agenor Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nhunguagu FC's goalkeeper Agenor Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agenor Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Neves in the 70th minute of play. Miguel Matos's late challenge caught a Nhunguagu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Reinaldo de Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guga Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Nhunguagu FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Favoretto. In the 88th minute, Reinaldo de Godoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nhunguagu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Nhunguagu FC's Valdomiro Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Guga Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachu Ita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Soares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agenor Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Cachu Ita FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nhunguagu FC to win.
