Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernandinho Rocha started the match with the kick off. Caco Vianna hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Ihum EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello Santos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ihum EC booed when Tataira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Tataira's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Rocha came free, but Michel Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luiz de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Michel Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Magalhães having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Elias Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ediberto Magalhães. Ihum EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. André Luiz de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Michel Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ihum EC. 36 minutes into the game, Naldo Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tataira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ihum EC the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Tataira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Fernandinho Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Tataira got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Azevedo. Adriano Oliveira, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Michel Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandinho Rocha's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Caco Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ihum EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tataira the free kick. In the 74th minute, Elias Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ediberto Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 80th minute, Ihum EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elias Cordeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adriano Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Rocha in the 90th minute of play forced Tataira's goalkeeper Michel Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Fernandinho Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tataira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ihum EC.
