When Mazinho Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mazinho Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Celso Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysses Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match, Serginho Secco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Célio Ceresso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. milan's Célio Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save milan from getting a goal against them. milan's Célio Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo da Silveira in the 19th minute of play. Mário Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Célio Ceresso firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mário Santos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Célio Ceresso. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Arnaldo da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Célio Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bugi SS. In the 32nd minute, Alexandre de Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Ribeiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Bugi SS's goalkeeper Ricardinho Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Bugi SS got a freekick which was hit by Mário Santos. Bugi SS's Ricardinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Ribeiro in the 35th minute of play. Mazinho Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ricardinho Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. milan's Célio Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Secco in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bugi SS's Zé Pirani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Célio Ceresso. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serginho Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Célio Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Célio Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo da Silveira in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, milan's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pirani came free, but Célio Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the milan defense, Mário Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Célio Ceresso. The milan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Célio Ceresso should have stopped the shot. Zé Pirani took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Célio Ceresso. Célio Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Célio Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matías Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ricardinho Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauan Faustino charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kauan Faustino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bugi SS getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kauan Faustino hit a great ball. Célio Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Secco went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Arnaldo da Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Célio Ceresso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnaldo da Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Mazinho Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Monteiro having to interfere. Alexandre de Godoy hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Bugi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Fernando de Azevedo came free, but Ricardinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Bugi SS were the better team. Bugi SS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
