Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Fábio Valadares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Manfredo Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro de Almeida in the 14th minute of the match. When Alfredo de Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canicura's protests and gave Alfredo de Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Canicura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Edmílson Terra was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Luiz Fábio Valadares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Fábio Valadares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Bruninho Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfredo Gerber having to make a save. After 24 played minutes Pirituba got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Torres. With his leg Edmílson Terra managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Canicura's Álvaro Souza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Luiz Fábio Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Canicura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Valadares couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pirituba booed when Canicura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arí Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauan Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manfredo Gerber. Canicura's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 33 played minutes Luiz Fábio Valadares rounded Pirituba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. If Álvaro Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Valadares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edmílson Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Pirituba's Edmílson Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Souza in the 57th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Lauro de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirituba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canicura the free kick. In the 65th minute, Lauro de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 77th minute of the match Alfredo de Andrade completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfredo de Andrade a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 77th minute, Alfredo de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruninho Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Manfredo Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canicura's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
