Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oséias Rossi got the match started through his kick off. If Frank Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Canavial got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Barros. Combuti's Zézinho Marinho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Frederico Trigo but with some difficulty. A collision led to Combuti getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tibúrcio Cosme hit a great ball. If Oséias Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Terra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Frederico Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerson de Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisão de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Combuti's Luisão de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerson de Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Frank Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Zézinho Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Combuti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canavial the free kick. 30 minutes into the game, one of Combuti:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute Dida Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerson de Almeida in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisão de Toledo saved Combuti from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dida Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. Luisão de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Combuti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Canavial's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Barral came free, but Frederico Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim Barros hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Zézinho Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Trigo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Combuti's Francisco Pernambucano got a free kick in the 81st minute. A long shot from Serafim Barros in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Luisão de Toledo made a really good save at the right post. Oséias Rossi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Canavial's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Frederico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Terra in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Terra in the 91st minute of play forced Canavial's goalkeeper Frederico Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Terra in the 93rd minute of play. Frederico Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Terra in the 96th minute of the match. Bebeto Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Combuti's Dida Barral fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Canavial's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
