Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matheus de Sena started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Matheus de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pechincha's Dito Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Melo in the 6th minute of play. Manuel Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Freire in the 8th minute of the match. Matheus de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 12 minutes, Matheus de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pechincha and the Sape players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes, Belchior Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sape and the Pechincha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sape's Belchior Gonçalves got a free kick in the 14th minute. Matheus de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Manuel Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juninho Lima made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Pechincha's goal looked a bit too open when Juninho Lima came free, but Dito Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Vítor Fonseca hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Alfredão Melo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pechincha's Dito Alvarenga. Dito Alvarenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Fausto Nóbrega hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Manuel Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Pechincha's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Gonçalves came free, but Dito Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Alex Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pechincha and the Sape players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sape walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
