With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Piraim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Philadelphia were winning 1-2.

After 67 played minutes Philadelphia got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Jacinto. If Edinho Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute.
