Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Freguesia's Geovanni da Fonseca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvaldo Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quingo's Jano Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Monteiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ronaldão Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Quingo's Tiaguinho de Almeida got control of the ball when Edvaldo Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovanni da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tiaguinho de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Geovanni da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Freguesia's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovanni da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho de Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ronaldão Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jano Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldão Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. If Jano Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hélio da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Geovanni da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tiaguinho de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hélio da Cunha made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jano Tasso sent off a good shot on target. Vito Valadares's late challenge caught a Freguesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vito Valadares helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Quingo got a freekick which was hit by Vito Valadares. Tiaguinho de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Fontes in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Geovanni da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiaguinho de Almeida. Quingo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Quingo's Germano Urbano got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Edvaldo Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hélio da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quingo. Tiaguinho de Almeida came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Freguesia's Geovanni da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Geovanni da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jano Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Hélio da Cunha made a huge save. If Edvaldo Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Freguesia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
