Jacinto Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio da Cunha having to make a save. Jacinto Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacinto Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Xavier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hélio da Cunha made a huge save. Geovanni da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Virgílio Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Xavier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Hélio da Cunha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Xavier got free with Hélio da Cunha in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Xavier succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mangarahy's Geovani Machado got a free kick in the 41st minute. Hélio da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Xavier in the 43rd minute. After 77 played minutes, Mangarahy's Renato Borges shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélio da Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mangarahy reached it. The long shot by Mauro Koehler in the 78th minute really tested Virgílio Velloso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélio da Cunha was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After having played for 82 minutes, Jacinto Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geovanni da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Velloso having to interfere. If Geovanni da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Geovani Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mangarahy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freguesia the free kick. In the 94th minute, Geovani Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
