Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronaldão Tepedino took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Paulo de Azevedo got free with Virgílio Velloso in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho de Almeida having to interfere. In the 11th minute Bruninho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Quingo defense, Bruninho Damião kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiaguinho de Almeida. The Quingo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiaguinho de Almeida should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes in the game, Ronaldão Tepedino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Virgílio Velloso having to interfere. The supporters of Quingo booed when Mangarahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mangarahy's Jacinto Xavier got a free kick in the 37th minute. The Mangarahy fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Mangarahy's Bruninho Damião looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute, Jano Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Quingo booed when Mangarahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Mangarahy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruninho Damião was the one to do the kick off. Tiaguinho de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Jacinto Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Tiaguinho de Almeida. Quingo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Quingo's Tiaguinho de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Quingo from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute, Ronaldão Tepedino made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Velloso. Mangarahy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Quingo's Tiaguinho de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Damião in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Tepedino in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Velloso saved Mangarahy from getting behind. Kiko de Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko de Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes, Quingo's Pedro Monteiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgílio Velloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quingo reached it. Jacinto Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho de Almeida having to interfere. Jano Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Virgílio Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Jacinto Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Bruninho Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Mangarahy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mangarahy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
