With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Vieira in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrício Macedo saved Barradas SS from getting behind. Patrício Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fábio Abreu got free with Vito Passos in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Confusao got a freekick which was hit by Fernão Vale. When Luiz Fábio Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Barradas SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fábio Abreu couldn't finish the play. Roger Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrício Macedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Severino Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Tiago Paes fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barradas SS's protests and gave Tiago Paes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barradas SS's Tiago Paes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Barradas SS booed when Confusao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernão Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fábio Abreu in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vito Passos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Confusao's Vito Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Machado in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Roger Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Patrício Macedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Confusao. Barradas SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
