Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chiquinho Aparecido took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Rui Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sanharo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Rezende couldn't finish the play. Chiquinho Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sandro Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sanharo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Botelho couldn't finish the play. Marcos Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Castle Fortress's Eliseu Dracena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovânio Godoi. Geovânio Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 20th play minutes Raimundo Guedes shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Geovânio Godoi and just under the crossbar into goal. Raimundo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Godoi having to interfere. The supporters of Sanharo booed when Castle Fortress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Artur Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Geovânio Godoi made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Sanharo's Sandro Botelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Linhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sandro Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Artur Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Marcos Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanharo. Geovânio Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 59thth minute of the game Sandro Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castle Fortress's Marcos Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandro Botelho in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Linhares saved Castle Fortress from getting behind. Raimundo Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raimundo Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Godoi having to interfere. Chiquinho Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Godoi having to interfere. Raimundo Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovânio Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiquinho Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Castle Fortress's Marcos Linhares got control of the ball when Artur Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Chiquinho Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Raimundo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castle Fortress's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castle Fortress walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
